Rainbow, Red, Mirchi, Meow
My perspective on the radio measurement debate which has appeared in Campaign India dated October 12, out today. I am shocked by the number of printer's devils in a publication with international antecedents. Read it anyway, please.
Let's hope you never leave old friend Like all good things on you we depend So stick around cos we might miss you When we grow tired of all this visual You had your time, you had the power You've yet to have your finest hour - Roger Taylor, Queen
no research can display the associated emotions. to me radio means my father with his 'radio ceylon' and its 'puraane hindi filmi geet' which used to come from 7:30 - 8:00. the programme used to end (still does) with a KL Saigal song and his voice giving me the cue of setting out for the school. my father still listens to it everyday.
and during my recent visit to Ceylon, i saw the place where its aired from.
You're very right, Vipul. Glad to see you logging on from LSE!
Meraj, MRUS released the last ILT round with a CD where the first song was Radio Gaga! I am envious of you, actually, you have such a great relationship with your dad, I sincerely pray that it lasts forever.

This is an old adage but i guess from what us aying is still as relevant :
"its mostly that first the method is determined and then the object of the research while it should be other way around."
So TAM will create a RAM....so will the other research agencies. Not so much out of lack of choice than out of convenience.
